Movement is More than Exercise
The goal of movement is to achieve resiliency in our bodies. Resiliency is the ability to manage challenges, quickly recovering from them, and growing to improve as a result of these challenges [s]. We want our bodies to endure a strenuous or stressful situation and bounce back easily and maybe even feel stronger afterwards.
Move the Lymph to help improve Immune Function
The lymph fluid flows slowly thought each node to allow adequate time for phagocytosis (destruction) of foreign substances within the nodes and prevents them from re-entering the blood stream. I like to think of these cells as our immune fighters!! Or our special op forces!
Just get out and move
Then get lost in the cadence of my feet striking the pavement, thump thump thump. I can get lost in my breathing, huh ha ha, I connect to my body, turn off my mind and just be in the moment. Connect to my #self while also being in the universe. And I love that it’s just that easy.
Dealing with Stress
We all have it but do we know what we can do about it. Maybe you need a reminder but these are my top recommendation on how to minimize the effects of stress in your life so you can live with more well being.
